About the Cover

Cover Figure

Cover picture: Exploring the molecular motions involved in the inhibition of CNG channels by Ca2+ -calmodulin. Cyan and yellow fluorescent proteins were attached to CNG channel subunits. The FRET ratio (F530/F480) changed with cumulative exposure to Ca 2+-calmodulin, but only in channels with a Ca2+-calmodulin binding site, consistent with the inhibition involving reorientation of the subunits NH2- and COOH-terminal regions.
